Intended Use: Establishing consistent brand identity across all packaging.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
For this project, I created a packaging design for a new product. Considering this particular product would be distributed by the company's vendors, it made it even more pivotal that we emphasized the AME International branding to carry through for clarity and recognition. This was for the company's Air Power Buddy brand of tools, which contains over six different products, making this the perfect template for several packaging designs.
The design is somewhat simple but contains straightforward information, and enough features and benefits listed to help the user understand the overall basics of the tool. The checkered flag helps to reinforce the automotive theme, while the black and white background creates great contrast with the colorful red AME logo. The solid red sides with the one-color logo help call to the AME International brand at a glance if product were to be stored on a shelf.
Manufacturers of the tool were overseas in China, and most of planning was done through email on different time zones, which made speedy efforts and excellent communication skills necessary for creating this design. Overall this packaging design was a major success for the company and this particular product line.
